The Benefits of Yoga for the Physiological Level

Increasing flexibility. Cure and prevent Arthritis - The yoga poses (asanas), act upon the various joints of the body, including those joints that we never really use. By practicing yoga poses we can experience a remarkable increase in the flexibility of the joints, ligaments and tendons. Yoga is exercise and relaxation combined and this is the perfect anti-arthritis formula. Yoga's slow-motion movements and gentle pressures, reach deep into strained joints. Also, the easy stretches in conjunction with deep breathing exercises relieve the tension that binds up the muscles and further tightens the joints.

Cure and prevent back pain - Back pain is the most common reason to seek medical attention in the West. Yoga has consistently been used to cure and prevent back pain by enhancing strength and flexibility.

Massaging to all the internal vital organs of the body - Research has shown that yoga poses are the only form of activity that massages all of the internal glands and organs of the body and this promotes good health and well-being.

Complete detoxification - Yoga poses (asanas) helps to gently stretch the muscles and joints allowing the optimum blood supply to various parts of the body. This helps to flush the toxins out of the body. This leading to benefits such as delayed in ageing, providing energy and a remarkable zest for life.

Excellent toning of the muscles - Yoga practice can stimulate the muscles that have become flaccid and weak.

Provide balance in the nervous system - yoga is a great form of mediation in motion and that can balance the nervous system.

Reduction of stress - Because yoga practice is a slow and gentle form of exercise combined with breathing exercises, it can relieve body stress.

Cure and prevent respiration problems and asthma

Various studies have confirmed the beneficial effects of yoga for patients with respiratory problems. Physicians have found that the practice of asanas in combination with breathing exercises and meditation makes the treatment of asthma more effective. It has also been proved that asthma attacks can usually be prevented by yoga practice, without resorting to drugs. Patients who practice yoga have a better chance of gaining the ability to control their breathing problems. With the help of yogic breathing exercises, it is possible to control an attack of severe shortness of breath without having to seek medical help.

High Blood Pressure (hypertension)

The yoga postures, yogic breathing (pranayama) and the deep relaxation techniques (yoga nidra), which are basic components of yoga, have a major role to play in the treatment or prevention of high blood pressure and reduce the need for high blood pressure medication for people suffering from it.

Pain Management

Concentration during yoga postures, breathing exercises, deep relaxation techniques and meditation can also help reduce pain. Yoga is believed to reduce pain by helping the brain's pain centre regulate the gate-controlling mechanism located in the spinal cord and the secretion of natural painkillers in the body.

Weight Reduction

Yogic practices that reduce anxiety tend to reduce anxious eating. Regular yoga practice can help in weight management, for the reason that some asanas stimulate sluggish glands, to increase their hormonal secretions. There are specific asanas, such as the shoulder stand (Sarvangasana) or the fish pose (Matsyasana), which are targeted on the thyroid gland. This gland has a great effect on our weight because it affects the body’s metabolism rate. Fat metabolism is also increased, so fat is converted to muscle and energy and we have better muscle tone and a higher vitality level.

Also, the practice of “yogic breath” (yogic deep breathing) increases the oxygen intake to the body cells, including the fat cells. This causes increased oxidation or burning up of fat cells.

How To Assemble A Good PC

PROCESSOR(CPU)

INTEL has always been undisputed leader in the making excellent processors until AMD came up its biggest competitor.

I have always analyzed that INTEL has a good will, which make their products costly. I bet AMD will give you better product for the same amount. AMD is par excellent as INTEL, especially AMD with ASUS system board combination.

I will use the AMD website for the list of processors (Same applies even if you decide on INTEL). Every processor will list its capability and efficiency.
I checked and found AMD Phenom as the best choice for an Ultimate Gaming machine. AMD Phenom X4 and X3 are the best processors in the group. AMD describes it as built from the ground up for true quad- and triple core performance, AMD Phenom processors speed through advanced multitasking, critical business productivity, advanced visual design and modeling, serious gaming, and visually stunning digital media and entertainment.
You may check the Product brief on the same page. It will tell you what this processor is capable of, by this I do not mean technical jargons but non-tech language. In addition, you can also learn about Features & Benefits, Key Architecture Features, Technical Documentation, White Papers and most important Compatibility Information and Recommended Components of this processor. You get the feel that I never knew my processor so well.
Last step is to decide on the Processor Model for the decided Processor Line, which in our case is AMD Phenom X4 and X3. On the Home page of AMD Phenom X4 and X3, along with the above links we have Compare Phenom Specs. On this page, you will see all the models for all Processor lines and each model will have View Detail for in-depth analysis of the model. This will help you to make the most accurate decision for parts, yet to be analyzed.
Same way if you want a server equivalent machine with enormous processing power, go for AMD Opteron and follow above mentioned steps to know your processor better.

MOTHERBOARD(SYSTEM BOARD) + CHIPSET

After deciding on your dream processor, now we use the Compatibility Information and Recommended Components to see the AMD recommended Motherboards. These recommendations are very reliable as AMD does rigorous stress testing on these combinations.
After going through the details of every model for AMD Phenom X4 Processor Line, I have chosen AMD Phenom™ X4 Quad-Core, Model 9950 with frequency of 2600 MHz (Best in the group).
Now on the Compatibility Information and Recommended Components page will select our processor with the minute details for the most suitable board. I have a great board: ASUS M3A32-MVP Deluxe/WiFi-AP. Once you get the list of AMD recommended boards, go to the each manufacturers’ site and study each board individually. This will help you see what extra one has over other. For example, MSI may give you great board but ASUS may give you great board with WiFi on board, two Network cards, more internal storage capacity, Motherboard heat sink, fanless environment etc. Believe me, better you analyze – money spent is justified better.
When it comes to chipset, you really don’t have to worry as all motherboard manufactures’ give the best chip sets for their boards. The best chipset manufacturers are AMD, Intel and NVIDIA. There are others as well but preferably stay with the best.
Our motherboard has AMD 790FX Chipset, which is the best combination with our AMD processor.
ASUS will give you every detail about the motherboard on the board page.

MEMORY(RAM)

Well, we just finished the toughest part. Memory selection is easy as you motherboard will tell you what good for it. In our case, DDR2-1066 is the best choice. This board can support memory with lesser frequency but it’s good to go for the best. Since our board has great expandability we don’t have to buy everything in one go. I mean processor and board are the system foundation. After this if we run short on cash, get only one memory stick of 2 or 4 GB. You can keep expanding it later as you need it. Same applies to other stuff too, like Graphics card or Sound card etc. Best manufacturers for memory are Kingston, Transcend and Corsair

GRAPHICS CARD

You can always use Compatibility Information and Recommended Components information on the AMD website for recommendations for other system parts as well.
Graphics is something where ‘More the better’. If you can afford you can get great graphics card with 2GB video memory, heavy gamer will need this for better performance. ASUS and NVIDIA makes the best High-End cards. Have a look yourself on their sites.

HARD DRIVE

Storage is again a matter of personal preference. Only factor could be the HDD RPM, the more the RPM better is the response time for the disk. Frankly, 7k or 10k RPM is so fast that you wont notice any change when running 15k HDD. Still your call… Best SEAGATE

SOUND CARD

This is again you call according to your needs or how loud you wanna get?
Best manufacturer is Creative.

CABINET

This is very important part. Heavy Processor and Motherboard will create more heat and may likely incur more damages to themselves. ASUS Heat sink will bring down the system temperature by 10 degrees but you do need good cabinet to make sure of proper airflow and temperature control.
Cooler Master makes the best cabinets and you can choose according to your needs.

POWER UNIT(SMPS)

More components inside the box more power is needed. Normal machine will just need 250 or 390 Watts unit. However if you are going to run four High-End graphics card then you will need 1000 or 1250 Watts unit. Visit Cooler Master and identify a product of you needs.

MONITOR

Completely depends on your needs. Best ones are from LG, SAMSUNG, VIEWSONIC, SHARP, DELL and APPLE.

UPS
Your call. Best is American Power Conversion. Get the one that suits your need.
